Ahluwalia ji visiting the Siliguri Regulated Market at 9:00 am. At first he had
a interaction with the Potato Dealers and Labourers at Allupaty . The Potato Dealers and Labourers first
felicitated Sri. Ahluwalia ji and then
spoke about their problems to him. They told him about the lack of proper
facilities at the Market . The Siliguri regulated market is the main whole sale
market of North Bengal and also caters to the needs of people of Bhutan and
Sikkim.
The Regulated Market doesn't even have a permanent cooking space for the labourers and the labourers have to cook in the open. There is no proper system for maintaining the market. Aluwaliaji listened to their problems in detail and also spoke of " SWACH BHARAT" to them and told them to try to keep their market clean which looked very Dirty.
